Ranging in color from hot pink to dark purplish red, striking Rubellite is a variety of Tourmaline commonly mistaken for Ruby. With no two gemstones having the exact same shade, Rubellite is pyro-electric, meaning it can generate an electric potential when heated up or cooled down.
